This is a great item to protect any Whites metal detector (except TM-808) as you are traveling to the site or carrying your gear in preparation to hunt. You don't need to disassemble the detector, just push the lower rod in as far as it will go and rotate the search coil to align with the case. The case has two nylon strap carry handles and a nifty zippered compartment for pin-pointers, batteries etc. The bottom edge of this bag is wide and made of moisture resistant vinyl to further protect your detector when its placed on the ground.
