Western Electric 302 Black Desk Phone, Beautiful, not wired for home use

Description

A beautiful black Western Electric 302 desk phone. This phone has nice condition cloth cords that have no rips, paint residue, or frays, except at the end of the power cord where someone could splice on a modular plug for modern home use. Everything about this phone is crisp and clean considering its age. Usually a 302 handset is somewhat dull due to Bakelite fading, this one is still shiny with only minor fading. T
he porcelain number plate has almost no letter or number fading. The metal dial has only minor paint loss, and as you see there is a hard to find letter number dial card in its center. The feet are in great condition. The case has no cracks or chips, only light scratches and a small dig in the front edge.
Its possible this has been restored over the years since the cords are almost perfect and the feet have a cloth covering, rather than the suede leather usually seen. There is also a capacitor cylinder hooked up inside the phone which is unusual. As you can see this is not wired for attachment to a modular wall outlet.
