    Description

    Offered is a vintage telephone system amplifier or preamp.  The unit is clean and in good condition.  It is untested.  It bears no manufacturers name or type number.  The number 42 appears on the chassis.  A factory tag outlining telephone system information remains in place, but it is hard to read. Tubes included are as follows:  5Y3GT, 6SN7GT and 6SL7GT. Power Transformer is by New York Transformer Co. (200924).  The other chassis top component is a choke.  Three sockets are 4, 5 and 6 pin respectively with a single pin bananna-size jack as well. The line cord is short and the fuse holder within is damaged.  8 X 7 X 4 1/2 inches tall.  Almost 7 pounds packed up. The little amp is not tested and offered strictly "as is" due to age.  Pick it up for restoration or for parts.  Could easily be modified to an audio amp. NO RESERVE!! Thanks for looking.
