VINTAGE HARLEY DAVIDSON-MERKEL MOTORCYCLE BOARD TRACK RACER PHOTO MALDWIN JONES
JONES- ONE OF THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS OF THE HD WRECKING CREW, CIRCA 1916. HARLEY DAVIDSON MERKEL MOTORCYCLE BOARD TRACK RACER PHOTO. MALDWYN JONES, born in 1891, in Lebanon, Ohio. He worked at the Merkel Motorcycle factory at 18 years of age. In 1916 Harley Davidson offered him a factory ride and allowed to put HD racing engines in Merkel Motorcycle frames. A member of the original HD wrecking crew. He is in the Motorcycle Hall of Fame. He died at the age of 97 in 1989. This would be a fantastic addition to your collection!
It is a reproduction 8 x 10 inch glossy black and white photo with white border. In mint condition. You will love it!
