Lovely Dutch Windmill Scene with Beautiful Border
Made in Holland
Decorative wall plate marked Societe Ceramique, Maestricht, Made in Holland.
This is a vintage piece dating to the early 1900's or late 1800’s.
Measures:
9 1/4" in diameter
Beautiful windmill scene with a Dutch Man and Woman in wooden clogs
out in the country.
On the front reads
:
"Holland, Molenzicht"
Molenzicht translates to Mill View.
On the back reads
: " Mooi Nederland" which translates to " Beautiful Netherlands".
The back has 2 holes pieced in the base for hanging on the wall.

Condition:  No chips or cracks.  Some marks on back and rim from age/hanging on wall, maybe some paint from original firing.
Plate is meant to hang on wall - front has no issues - and plate is very decorative and brightly colored and detailed.
