This is a very rare Duran Duran collectible...and you'll be hard-pressed to find another one offered at this starting price!
Great vintage gift for the D2 collector who you think "has it all"... they probably don't have this 40 year old book about the early days of the band that was just inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This book included beautiful pics of original member of the Fab 5: Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Andy Taylor and Roger Taylor.
Published in 1984, this attractive 27 page book is large scale (measures 12 inches by 12 inches) and was stored for almost 40 years in the original plastic it came in and has been stored flat in a box for all those decades in my clean, non-smoking home. There is some very light bending/angling at one side that makes it "very good" condition instead of pristine mint. I am sure this can be flattened with weighting it down with some books for a few days or weeks, but don't have time to do it myself. The colors are as vibrant as ever and it looks great for a vintage original!
I was a huge Duran Duran fan from the day they arrived on the scene, and have hundreds, if not thousands, of memorabilia items, including autographs, books, magazines, tear-sheets from teen and music magazines, buttons/pins, dozens and dozens of full-sized rare posters, records (including Japanese discs and other rare imports), clothing, Betamax tapes, and more.
