Vintage Desk Top Rotary Telephone Western Electric D1-  Excellent Condition

Description

Vintage Desk Top Rotary Telephone Western Electric D1 with E1 handset.  This phone was manufactured between 1930 and 1936.
It is a phone I've  had on display in my Art Deco themed office for the last 8 years.
Cosmetically I would consider this phone in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips of any kind. The cord is well attached and in good condition.  The fabric base looks great with no tears or any sign of coming loose.
Functionality:  Well, when I plugged in to our house line, it got a dial tone and shortly there after a busy signal.  The number dial rotates properly in all respects.
I've reached the point in my life where it's time to let go of 40 years of collectables.  My office contains many, many items from the late 20's through the 50's, but primarily Art Deco from the 30's. The last photo is but one corner, I'll be adding more general photos.
