    Description

    Offering this great set of four vintage Potter's Wheel Rust Red ironstone bread plates from Denby.  Made in England, these high quality stoneware plates are hand painted and have some slight variation from plate to plate.  They have a rust red circle center with a ring of a chocolate brown.  The body of the plate is an off white with hints of brown showing through.  The plate is slightly recessed and has a chocolate brown outer rim. Each of these plates is marked Denby on the back. These plates have seen some wear.  There are a few utensil markings and mild to minimal loss of glaze finish noted to the center of the plates.  They still show well and I consider them to be in very good condition given their age and usage.
