Another charming rotary desk phone for your shopping pleasure! This phone is UNTESTED, as we do not have a land line. I have heard that you can plug a phone into a jack and, whether you have service or not, it will place a call to 911...but that is improper use of an emergency line and we wouldn't dream of doing it just to test a phone.
That was the bad news...the good news is that this phone is very cool. Everything looked properly wired when we took it apart for cleaning. We also have the original box it came in. This box is older than I am, and it is also in better shape.
This would look great in a vintage or retro living room, den, or kitchen. If you want to harken back to the days that a phone call was an event and not something you do while you scroll through pictures of cats, this could be just the thing for you!
Again, just to be clear, phone is untested. It has been cleaned and looks to be in good order.
