Unusual Novelty Old Chrome Plated Easy-Clean Telephone Dial Wheel.  Has a dent hard to see in the first photo, chrome reflects the lights.  One of the numerous gadgets made to compliment the use of telephones during the 1920’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. This one is relief-ed (“cut out”) to facilitate the easier cleaning of the old porcelain number plates and was used usually on the older 3” dials. Thus the title was coined “Easy-clean Dial Finger Wheel”. This was easier than trying to put a cloth through the finger holes and twirling/cleaning.
