    SOCIÉTÉ CÉRAMIQUE ~ Vintage Quality Porcelain GRAVY BOAT (Oiseaux) ~ Holland
    Description of item...
    Here we have a beautiful fine quality porcelain (glazed earthenware) oval GRAVY BOAT with an attached LINER made by SOCIETE CERAMIQUE from Maestricht, Netherlands/Holland in the "Oiseaux (Birds)" pattern displaying two different green designs of ducks serenading the other mate. It measures approx. 9 1/2" base long x 5 3/4" wide x 4 1/4" side high, can hold up to 12 ounces. It is in excellent maintained (barely/hardly used) condition with no chips or cracks, no damage noted...appearing to have had little or no use, displayed in curio cabinet/hutch. The bottom is marked, "MADE IN HOLLAND ~ SOCIÉTÉ CÉRAMIQUE ~ MAESTRICHT ~ OISEAUX." Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, pattern discontinued, circa 1950's-1969. This item weighs approx. 1 1/4 lbs., add 2 3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
