Perforated Duck Bill Beach Scoop
This is a great light weight sand scoop for beach detecting .We recommend this scoop for dry sand  beach hunting .The mouth is our duckbill design with 1/2" perforated holes punched in it for fast sifting of dry beach sand.The mouth is made of 16 gauge steel.The basket is 1/2" 16 gauge welded wire mesh.Wire mesh baskets sift sand super fast.The handle is 18 gauge steel and is 24 " long with our comfortable 5" foam rubber hand grip. The scoop has a durable painted finish .The scoop weighs 1 lb 8 oz.This is a drag scoop .Just place the mouth of the scoop into the sand and pull the scoop towards you.The angle of the handle pushes the scoop into the sand.
Note this is a painted scoop and repeated use in the sand will wear off the painted finish .
