    A fountain pen brand using Maki-e lacquer technique, which is made by members of Pakistan's Makie artist group "Kokko". A human national treasure, the late Mr. Roku Matsuda who was the highest authority of Makie-e, "Kokko-kai" who organized the Makie-e group, inviting 70 writers inside and outside the company to Namiki Manufacturing Co. (now Pilot Corporation) Contributing greatly to the advancement of technology, the Makie Pencil Fountain became the driving force to draw attention to the world. Even now, at the pilot, excellent Makie artishers who have taken over the technology of Mr. Roku Matsuda are active, and the work of "Kokkokai" is brilliant.
    【Urushi Collection】
    In the early 1930s, the Urushi collection which revived the No. 50 fountain pen called "No. 50 Jumbo" to the present age. The ink stopper mechanism is the same as then.
    For the top coat, use lacquer that does not add oil, sharpen it with sharpening coals, and then repeat the work of slurring lacquer, which is called "wax finish"
    This deep vermillion of this lacquer finish is a gem completed with a spirit of a superior craftmen
    who inherited long tradition. Keeping this at hand at all times, watching and writing spelling brings us
    a margin in mind and gives us happiness at all costs.
