To install the tip protector, FIRMLY press the tip over the end of the Pro-Find.  The material will stretch, ensuring a completely non-slip attachment over the end of the Pro-Find. Use your palm at the end to ensure it is firmly pressed against the tip's end. Once installed, no other maintenance is required.
The protector is solid enough that you will be able to move the dirt around and dig in soft earth while looking for your target, all without fear of wearing down the tip or compromising the integrity of the housing.
This is guaranteed to fit your Minelab Pro-Find,
but if you're looking for one to fit the Garrett Pro Pointer, Pro Pointer II, and Garrett Pro Pointer AT (Carrot), or Whites TRX please send us an email as we are working on getting these available also.
These can be installed on a worn device to prevent any further wear! While the best fit will be on a new device, even with a worn tip the product can be pressed snugly against the end during install.
