Description:
This comes with a special battery pack that lasts 3 times longer than the original battery pack. Comes with brand new batteries and 2 chargers. The larger coil is 0 by itself and the smaller butterfly coil is around 9. Im including both of these coils. They are better than the original stock,
you will get greater depth with these coils! Both coils have coil covers as well!
When you are using these newer coils the explorer will get the same depth as the E-Trac.
So if you can live without the USB this is just like buying an E-Trac. You can still program it like the E-Trac but you save it in the machine, not the computer. This Minelab Explorer SE has 28 frequencies, because of this feature it has 2D discrimination. It has ferris and conductivity and that's the reason why these detectors are so great at finding silver. Take it from someone who has owned metal detectors from every brand, all high end machines. Minelab is the only company that offers 28 frequencies. From what I know only their 00 metal detector (Minelab CTX 3030) has the 28 frequencies now. The lower grade newer models do not. I started finding silver again when I started using the Minelab Explorer II (With a newer coil, stock coil doesn't work as well), SE, and Etrac. With the newer coils they all get the same depth.
