Description
This is a circa 1950s Leich electric bakelite rotary dial telephone. It is known for its "claw" design that holds the receiver in place when the telephone is wall mounted upside down. The dial also rotates for proper alignment when used as a wall phone. The telephone has some scratches and scuffs particularly to the right side and a small tight crack near the middle right side of the dial. It also has a white substance around the dial that does come off with some elbow grease. It needs to be wired. It is my understanding that these phones work best when wired for traditional telephone company lines. The phone has not been tested. Selling "as is," thanks.
