Extremely Rare Authentic Federal Amber Sharon Cabbage Rose Cheese Dish

This auction consists of a very rare cheese dish by Federal in the Sharon or Cabbage Rose pattern
.  This one is authentic as it uses the salad plate with a built-up ring to hold the lid in place.  I have seen many butter dishes listed as cheese dishes, but this is the real thing.  I have also seen several of these listed in pink, but not an amber one.  The cheese dish was only listed in the catalog for one year, & was sold exclusively to cheese manufacturers.  Don't miss your opportunity to add this RARE piece to your collection.  This one measures approximately 3 1/2" to the top of the lid finial (the plate is approximately 3/4" tall) x 7 1/4" wide.  This one does not sit exactly flat as is common with this type of glass; it is only off a hair, but mentioned for accuracy.  It is not noticeable on display; only when pointed out.  Photos 1 & 2 show this piece with different lighting.  Photo 3 shows that it is a plate with a built-up ring; not a bowl.  Photo 4 shows the bottom in a stand.  And photo 5 shows a close-up of the bottom with only a few light scratches.  It is in excellent used condition with no chips, cracks, or cloudiness.  You are only buying one cheese.  I do combine items to save on USPS Priority Shipping.  Thanks for stopping by & please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you may have, or for additional photos.  I have some fine china that I will be listing soon.  Check out my
