New SAGA™ is really exceptional, if I don’t say so myself. If you currently use a Swing Arm, you will throw it away when you use this one.
I have sold everyone elses Swing Arms for 28 years and they are a wonderful accessory. However, they all have serious design flaws. They all will break at the pivot joint where the Swing Arm attaches to the detector.
I finally had enough. Using all the knowledge I had about what was wrong with Swing Arms, I decided to design a Swing Arm that would correct all of those short comings. I'm proud to introduce the New
SAGA™ Swing Assist Guide Arm. This is the only Swing Arm you will ever want, or ever need.
• No more breakage at the pivot point where Swing Arms attach to the detector. The SAGA™ is designed with a pivot point that allows for the typical movement to swing the arm out and away from the detector, but it also is designed with a rotating Pivot Joint that allows for up and down movement of the arm. This is extremely important because the limited ability of all swing arms made to date, to move up and down is what causes breakage. The SAGA™ pivot joint provides complete freedom of movement up and down, as well as side to side. This eliminates breakage, but it also gives you better control over the coil on your detector.
• No more wishing there was a Swing Arm that would fit your detector with it’s a weird shaped rod. Like a Minelab (SDC2300). Nothing could be weirder than the upper part of a GPZ7000, yet look at the picture to see how well it fits even that weird shape. The unique design of the attachment base, allows you to easily attach it to regular round rods, or irregular shaped large rods, depending on how you thread the UV resistant rubber straps. I made the SAGA™ to fit virtually any detector
• No more trying to get the swing arm out of the way when not in use. If you need your hand to do something else. The SAGA™ has a proper storage clip. Snap it in place, and it is securely stored away, out of the way.
• Feel like detecting without the Swing Arm for a while? No worries! Push a button remove the rod and handle from your detector and stow it away until you decide to use it again.
• Are you a tall person and you like a long swing arm, or you’re a short person and like the swing arm short? Got you covered. You can easily trim the rod to the perfect length then glue the handle on with the included 1-ounce tube of silicone sealant. We will send a 32 inch long rod as the standard length.
If you have never used a Swing Arm, well, you are spending a lot of energy swinging one-handed and you are unnecessarily stressing one side of your body, your arm, neck, and shoulders.
When you take a walk, do you use both legs or do you hop on one? If you are hopping around all day, that one leg is getting mighty tired. That’s why using your muscles bi-laterally helps fight fatigue and strain. Not only that, but you will never have so much control over your detector. You will execute perfectly level controlled swings effortlessly when you are using both hands.
The more comfortable you are when you detect, the more attention you will pay to your threshold, and you will notice you increase your targets significantly.

* International Customers! Because of postal regulations anything with a length over 24 inches incurs a substantial upcharge. For example 1 SAGA Costs approx. to ship and 2 SAGA's cost around internationally. The SAGA Swing Assist Guide Arm uses a fiberglass rod that is exactly the same as the lower rod supplied with Minelab model machines, SD, GP, GPX, Excalibur and Sovereign. If you have access to one of these lower rods, just cut the head off the end that attaches to the coil. If you have access to one of these rods I can save you quite a bit of money. I will simply send you all of the parts minus the rod, along with silicone glue to attach the handle to the rod. Also a plastic button to replace the metal button in the Minelab rod. Here's the difference in cost between buying the SAGA with a rod or without. With rod. .95 plus shipping = 4.95. If you order it without the rod, I will take off the .95 price and the shipping is only . So your total would be .95 plus = .95 a savings of . Now I don't know a way to do all of the acrobatics to get Ebay to give you that price. So if you order the SAGA to be shipped internationally go ahead and order normally, but send a comment along with the payment that you want the SPECIAL WITHOUT ROD PRICE. I will immediately subtract .95 for one parts set from whatever you were charged for 1 SAGA and refund the difference back to you through Pay Pal. You will get all of the parts minus the rod. Get this! You can order 2 parts sets without the rod for the same shipping! So you would pay .95 for each of 2 rod sets, 9.90 plus = 1.90
**We use authentic Gorilla Glue® brand glue in assembling the SAGA™. Gorilla Glue expands as it dries. Accordingly you may find some excess dried glue on the parts. This is perfectly normal and does not effect the functionality of these high quality products. The excess glue will wear off with use.
