    A GREAT SHOT OF HARLEY DAVIDSON RACER JOE PETRALI - WITH 49 AMA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS PHOTO.
    Also a hill climbing champ. He won National championships in 1932, 1933, 1935, and 1936. He was born in San Francisco on February 22, 1904. He rode for factory teams of Indian, Excelsior, and Harley Davidson. After his racing career he worked for Howard Hughes and was the flight engineer on the famous Spruce Goose when it flew briefly in the bay. He died in 1973.
